Owned and operated by Mandy and Jared Thomas, Gotwood Taupo started from humble beginnings as a small backyard operation. Since then we’ve grown the business into a large-scale firewood yard equipped with a fully operational firewood processing unit and storage facilities.
We take extra care to ensure we are supplying dry firewood, including raised storage and regular moisture testing. Plus, we offer you expert advice on the best type of wood for your needs, how to store it at home and the amount you might need to get you through the season.
But, no matter how much we’ve grown, our focus has always been on delivering the best firewood and ensuring our customers are well taken care of, every step of the way.
We’re also proud to be an active part of the Taupo community, supporting local and national charities such as Hato Hone St Johns and Lions Clubs.
